I come from a family of full-figured women. With 67% of the female population who are a size 14 or above, it seems that many of us know a full-figured woman whom we refer to as family, friend, or colleague. After 12 years in fashion design, I decided to honor my mother, my aunt, my sister, my best friend and countless women around the globe by eschewing the norm and creating a line of dresses that spoke to them. It is my mission to show them that although they are not what many consider a covetable size, they are still beautiful and deserve fashionable, well-made clothes that accentuate their curves. My philosophy is that ALL women are beautiful beings. I hope that SK WiLBUR, my line of bold, classic, modern dresses, makes full-figured women feel as fabulous as they are.
